I was at the Paddington Markets on Saturday – it was just a lazy day with nothing to do – and on my wander around the stalls this beautiful shop by Honeybeegoods caught my eye.

They have a gorgeous, romantic and dare I say whimsical range of handmade sterling silver & stainless steel jewellery. One of my cousins in Indonesia is going through a tough time at the moment with her family and my Mum was flying back to see them all the following Tuesday so I thought it would be a great opportunity to buy her something. Just so she knew I was thinking of her.

This earring and pendant set were inspired by Goldilock’s adventures with the three bears.

They’re Australian made stainless steel on sterling silver hooks.

I had originally bought the Goldilocks pendant for my cousin and while I was walking around the markets afterwards I thought… I really like it. I want to keep it. But… that would be a bit wrong.

So I went back and bought the matching earrings.

Thinking about it now, it’s like the friendships necklaces I had as a girl. My best friend would have one half and I would have the other half.

Dewi and I are separated by a huge ocean and various visa restrictions but I hope with one half of the set, she knows I’m behind her.
